"Kingfisher" Award Scheme 2012
The "Kingfisher" Award Scheme is aimed at developing a broad range of water skills. The scheme is designed to allow for the natural development of a child's ability.
If a pupil attends the whole course, this is only about 8/9 hours tuition. Some children will have to attend more than one course to achieve the standard required. It is always best to start in the correct relative age group, course. Water Confidence at 5yrs. old progressing to Level 1 on ability. This can help to prevent any "hold up" with the child's progression through our system.

Enrolment will commence from 9.00am on the date specified (or as stated)
Enrolment is on a "first come, first served" basis. Individuals can enrol all the children in the immediate family. Individuals can be: aunts, uncles, friends etc.
Although this method of enrolment does not suit everyone, overall it is considered to be the most fair.
A certificate will be given for course achievement (i.e. level or distance), which is complementary.
A badge for the child's costume or towel, to match the certificate will be available from reception for a small cost.
